It was amazing! You have to get the tickets before entry. Tickets are available at an affordable rate. Be careful at the last part of the tour - the real boardwalk. There is no support to hold onto. Beware of a few insects too. Overall, it was a really good experience!

Absolutely loved the place. Must visit if you are around. Ticket price is only Rs 10 and can visit any time during the day. Creates good awareness about mangroves and their importance. Wonderful effort.

well maintained mangrove board walk. its hardly 4km from honnavar town. there is a entry ticket of 20 INR per head and 10 INR for kids.

it's a less than 2km walk overall in dense mangrove forest and there are signboards regarding the direction and species in mangroves.

spacious parking and also eatable are available ( stalls ) near the ticket counter.

The Sharavathi Kandla Mangrove Boardwalk offers a glimpse into a unique ecosystem, but its current state leaves much to be desired. While it’s a decent spot to spend time with friends, the boardwalk is poorly maintained, with several broken sections that detract from the experience.Though there’s some wildlife to observe, the lack of vibrancy and upkeep makes it less engaging.

Early morning or late afternoon visits are still best for cooler weather and good lighting, but be prepared for uneven paths.Facilities are minimal, so bring your own refreshments.

Overall, it’s an okay outing, but improvements are needed for it to realize its full potential as an eco-tourism destination.

It is one of the beautiful natural trail in the mangrove forest of HONNAVAR.
Way inside the forest is so beautiful that one should really visit n enjoy it….
You may feel scared but it’s really so good

But we’ve to be little cautious while walking on the broad walk as there are spaces between each wooden planks. And kids legs may get stucked in it.

When I went with my family, there were so many pre wedding photo shoots going on.
So I can even say it’s one of the good places in Karnataka for pre-wedding photo shoots.
Boating can also be done in the SHARAVATHI RIVER nearby.

There we will get to see the beautiful scenery of the mangrove forest and backwater of the Sharavathi river .

This place is so peaceful and good for the photographer or photo freaks.
