Hotel Navarathna Fish Land

At the entrance to town on the highway, Navarathna Fish Land is where locals go for coastal fish. Order the fish thali or bangda (mackerel) curry, then a fry: pomfret, kingfish, kane or prawns, done masala, tawa or rava style. The prawns and crab ghee roast and the clam sukka are favourites and it's one of the few places in town with neer dosa on the menu. Open for lunch and dinner.
